Plastic.	All Chrome Limited Edition Pedal Sedan The famous "sad face" pedal cars of the late 1940's and early 1950's inspired our pedal sedan. It was nick-named "sad face" because of it's front end, similar to a 1949 Oldsmobile, a 1949 Packard or a 1949 Buick, looks like an "up-side-down" smile. Our vehicle is trimmed with a chrome windshield, chrome steering wheel, chrome hubcaps and a chrome hood ornament. As with all of our vehicles, it is made out of heavy gauge steel just like the original pedal cars of the forties. We make the sedan in various colors. Recommended for children ages 2 to 6 years old: OVERALL DIMENSIONS: Length 36.00", width of body 15.50". MATERIALS: Heavy gauge steel in body and undergear, solid rubber tires. Pedal Race Car Our Racer was inspired by the famous 1952-1957 Ferrari F2 Racers and other Grand Prix type racers of the era: It's a beautiful car and so well proportioned that most people are unaware of how big it is. Almost 50% bigger than our other pedal cars, it comes with chrome rims, a chrome steering wheel, chrome knock off spinners, chrome windshield, and a big chrome grille: Our Racer was inspired by the famous 1952 through 1957 Ferrari F2 Racers and other Grand Prix type racers of that era. The famous and rare Giordani Racers of the mid fifties is also in its heritage. Whereas most of the Giordani Racers were made of fiberglass, our Racer is all steel. It's unbelievable, our flagship. It is a beautiful car, so well proportioned most people are unaware of how big it is. Almost 50% bigger than our other pedal vehicles. Pick your favorite color and drive it home: This is our newest model. It kind of favors a miniature Model A. As with all our other products, this vehicle is made from heavy gauge steel. Note: our entire Jalopy line has been "retooled" for 2003. In a word, they're bigger, we made them 11% bigger, which may not sound like much, but when every measurment has been increased 11% the entire vehicle becomes considerably larger, they're quite impressive. We kept the original cute look, it's as if we took a ray gun and increased everything. But we didn't stop there, we fixed things. We added steel nuts to hold on the wheels with chrome hubcaps. We added a beautiful hood ornament. Pedals are adjustable and have been lowered an inch, a six year can now easily ride it. We also improved our boxes, making them easier to unload and repack. Note the real wood dash and metal gauges. This vehicle went from 22 lbs to 40 lbs in weight, yet we kept our prices the same.
